About

Jaison Thomas

Started by Turning Wrenches.

Not in a boardroom. Not in a classroom. On the flight line, in the early hours, turning wrenches on C-5 aircraft in the United States Air Force. That's where it started. Everything since has been built on what I learned there.

The Story

The floor taught me everything the classroom didn't.

Where It Started

I enlisted in the United States Air Force and spent four years as a C-5 Galaxy Crew Chief, maintaining and operating some of the largest aircraft in the world. The Air Force didn't teach me leadership through a program. It taught me through consequence. When the standard slips at 3am on a flight line, people get hurt. That reality never left me.

When I came out, I took that discipline into manufacturing. Hazardous chemical plants. High-volume operations. Environments where unclear direction doesn't just cost money. It creates risk. I worked my way from the floor up, eventually reaching Plant Manager and then Director of Operations.

Why I Do This

I'm also a husband, married going on twelve years, and a dad to two daughters. That's not a footnote. It's the reason the work matters to me the way it does. The people on the teams I've led and coached live in communities like mine. They shop at the same stores. They send their kids to the same schools. When I say I want people going home safe and operations running profitably, I mean both. Every time.

The methodology I teach came from real situations, real failures, and real teams. Not a framework I read about. One I built by living it.
